SPIELRAUM. The latest T-shirt for SV Werder Bremen's SPIELRAUM concept makes every Werder fan's heart beat faster.
SPIELRAUM concept? What is that actually? The most important facts briefly summarised:
What is the aim? Werder wants to enable as many children and young people as possible to develop a sporting biography, get them excited about SVW and sport, and change society for the better through sport. One key to this is the SPIELRAUM.
What is a SPIELRAUM? SPIELRAUM refers to a social space. To reach children, you need to be close to them. Together with network partners, Werder works here to give children and young people access to sport. In each SPIELRAUM, daycare centres, primary and secondary schools, social institutions and sports clubs form a network. Werder has defined a total of twenty SPIELRÄUME centres in Bremen and Lower Saxony.
What happens at SPIELRAUM? Here, children and young people with and without disabilities and/or refugee experience have access to sport, for example through weekly exercise programmes or regular events. 365 days a year. Werder also works with network partners to train and qualify young people so that they can take on responsibility themselves and enable new generations of young people to take part in sport. Professional and junior players from SVW are also involved.
The cosy short-sleeved shirt is white and impresses with its simplicity. At the same time, it puts the focus on what is important: Spielraum's connection with Werder and the city of Bremen. This is made clear by the SPIELRAUM logo, our Werder diamond and the design elements such as the outline of Bremen and the listing of Bremerhaven and Bremen's districts in green.
