Important information regarding the international werder day!!

My PC must be broken. The new logo seems to show the E**lish flag above the Scottish one.........surely some mistake

 

I do like how the flags form the "W", which is the prominent part of Werders coat of arms. So @hasenbommel has to take that into account

 

Damn... that gives me a challenge since my idea that just formed in the stadium does not feature that (I took slemkes idea and developed it furhter in my head ) but I just might be able to include it as well...

I also might be able to put the Scottish flag above the English flag if killie would tell stop talking in code to me and invite me to the party :O

So yeah, I did a quick scribble (cause I never do logos nicely before anyone approves)...
Took the circle of flags idea but formed a small planet.
I'd probably add more people to the crowd later.

Of course flags, writing and so on are still exchangable, as I said, just a quick scribble

Thought it would be a good idea later to put those flags on the bottom that "don't mind being upside down" with this logo idea...

Spoke to Anthony today. Schnoor building won't be ready for 23.2.2012 so Paddy's Pit will gladly host the pre-IWF w/e get together. As said elsewhere, it sounds like 8pm start time fits in best with most people. We arrive in Bremen at 10am & from previous experience some of our numbers may struggle to see 8pm! :thumb:

Has anyone experience with how long it takes to get t-shirts, scarves, and stuff imprinted?

 

Scarves 2 weeks, tshirts 1 week, don't know about pin badges. These are safe timescales, possibly shorter if really pushed for time

 

Found a German provider, writes it takes about 2-6 weeks, costs for 30 scarves: 7,40€ each = 222€ + 25€ (programming the knitting machine) = 247€

First of all we would need the final version of the logo! So @hasenbommel, get to work!

 

The logo looks great, but...

- IWF immediately reminds me of the "Internationaler Währungsfonds" (=Intermational Monetary Fund) and not at all of football or fans ... I would just do without the abbreviation
- Would it not rather be "fan day" in 2 words?

I just got home and feel like drawing so I'm getting to work
I think I just go with three rounds of that ribbon in the logo and then we can still decide what to put on them

BTW: I don't like IWF either. It's great for talking here but it sounds wrong...

Yeah, as I said, I go with three ribbons for now just because it looks best and then we try out a few versions.
