"We are very happy that Werder are involved in so many different ways and at the level of support they've received. We started discussions last week, then the jerseys were released, and today we were given the donation. It will allow us to do so many things. We will now be able to keep our projects running for longer, and will be able to expand them beyond what was initially planned. We will also be able to focus on helping the homeless in particular. People who are especially impacted by the current situation, as several charitable campaigns are no longer able to take place," said Katharina Kähler.
Sebastian Langkamp was pleased to hear the praise and was quick to direct it to the fans. "I'm happy that the entire Werder community has gotten involved and that I was able to hand over the donation on behalf of everyone. I'm certain that it will not be the last cheque they recieve from us. After all, the campaign is still running for a few more days," said the defender. The home jersey with the special-editin STAYATHOME printing on the front, made possible by WIESENHOF, is still available to purchase with free shipping. Get yours from the Werder online shop here!
