Head coach Ole Werner will be without defender Milos Veljkovic for the away match against FC Schalke 04. The Serb has suffered a minor calf muscle strain. Captain Ömer Toprak will also miss the match against the league leaders on Saturday (13:30 CEST).

Christian Groß is a doubt according to Werner. The defender is currently suffering from a cold. Fabio Chiarodia will not make the trip to Gelsenkirchen. He is currently away with Italy’s U17s.
