Attacker Kebba Badjie is to leave Werder Bremen to join Hallescher FC for a year on loan, after an agreement was reached between representatives from Werder, the player and the 3. Liga side.
“Kebba has come on well as a player and has also made progress in preseason. It’s now important that he gets some match practice for the next stage of his development. The loan move to Hallescher FC makes perfect sense, because he has the opportunity to get game time at a good level and take the next step of his career,” commented Clemens Fritz, chief of scouting and professional football at Werder Bremen..
The 21-year old attacker joined Werder from VfL Oldenburg in 2019. Badjie featured 32 times for Werder Bremen U23s in the Regionalliga Nord, scoring 16 goals. He signed a professional contract with Werder this year.
