Florian Kohfeldt: “In the end it was a game that could’ve gone either way, so the draw is a fair result in my opinion. It was a great game with two teams that like to play football. It’s worth a lot to us to get a point here. Now we’re work more on our goals. The game next week against Freiburg will be tough enough.”
Davy Klaassen: “We can score in any game. It was a difficult game against a very good opponent, and they demanded everything from us. We weren’t so good in the first half, but we were better in the second. Despite that, we’re not happy today as we want to win every game, even if it wasn’t so easy today.”
Frank Baumann: “I’m happy with the result. In terms of the game, it was maybe lucky. Pavlas was outstanding twice. We didn’t get into the game how we wanted to. It was a difficult away game against a really good team. We needed to get at them more in order to unsettle them.”
Sebastian Langkamp: “We were tired today. On a better note, we were able to come from behind. We wanted to avoid a really open game. It’s a good feeling always knowing that we have the quality going forward. We shouldn’t panic. We’ll gladly take a point against Gladbach after three games in a week.”
Davy Klaassen: “I heard about it after the game. Finally a home game, that’s nice for once! It’s obviously not an easy game, but I think that there aren’t any easy opponents in the semi-final. Now we need to concentrate on the coming week first. That’s what we have to do first!”
Frank Baumann: “Bayern is an attractive tie. It’s nice that we’re playing at home. We’ll obviously ready ourselves for the game.”
Sebastian Langkamp: “Bayern would come at some point. We’ve already shown that we can cause an upset in the cup this season. It’s very nice to have a home game. The Weserstadion in the semi-final, with our fans behind us, that’s where I want to be.”
Florian Kohfeldt: “First things first, I’m happy we’ve got a home game. We’ll have to watch out for Lewandowski especially. I have a lot of respect for how he’s dominated the Bundesliga in recent years. He’s not a striker who’s just had one or two good seasons, he’s been constantly at that level. That’s awesome!”
