Serbia's U21 national team were held to a 1-1 draw in Italy. Milos Veljkovic played the full 90 minutes and helped secure a point, which still keeps their European Championship qualification hopes alive.
There was a far more clear result in the game between Switzerland's and Kazakhstan's U21 teams, as the Swiss and Ulisses Garcia recorded a fully deserved 3-0 win.
Germany's U19 and U21 teams were involved in friendly games. The U19 team with Johannes Eggestein and Niklas Schmidt in the starting XI lost 1-0 to Russia. The U21 side managed a 3-0 win against Slovakia and look set to take on Finland in a EURO qualifier on Tuesday.
Fallou Diagne is set to face Namibia with Senegal later on Saturday as they try to qualify for the African Cup of Nations. Senegal are leading the group comfortably after having won all five of their games so far.
