The Green-Whites will run out for the 34th time in the Bundesliga in 2015, but they will not be taking it easy in Frankfurt. Following their DFB Cup round-of-16 success, they take on Eintracht at 15:30 CET on Saturday in their last game this calendar year.

WERDER.DE has put together the most important pre-match facts, such as Werder's aims in Frankfurt, which Werder player has particularly good memories of the city, and Skripnik's expectations of Saturday's game.

Did you know...

...that the Green-Whites are particularly good away from home? Bremen have taken twelve of their 15 points in the Bundesliga this season on the road, making them the eighth most successful away side. Across all competitions, the team have recorded three wins and a draw from their last five away matches.

...that manager Viktor Skripnik is placing a special importance on the game? "It's a crucial game for us, like a sort of mini final. The team have taken a lot of self-confidence from the game in Gladbach, and we're determined to now go into the winter break on the back of a win. We need to give everything against Frankfurt - the players shouldn't save themselves for anything afterwards," the manager said in Thursday's press conference.

...that the Green-Whites have a slight edge in their previous encounters with Frankfurt? The teams are meeting for the 91st time in the Bundesliga, with Werder winning 39 of the previous 90 encounters and the sides recording 19 draws against each other.

...that Eintracht are in bad form? Frankfurt currently have the longest winless streak of all Bundesliga clubs. Armin Veh's team haven't won any of their last six games, losing their last four in a row. It is their first such run since October/November 2014.

...that Anthony Ujah is on a good run? The Nigerian has scored three goals in his last four games. His goal in the 4-3 midweek cup win was his tenth of the season, making him Werder's top scorer.

...that there will be reunions for players on both sides? Before his return to Bremen last summer, Werder goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald spent two years at Eintracht Frankfurt, standing in eleven times for Kevin Trapp in goal. In addition, Eintracht defensive midfielder Aleksandar Ignjovksi played 61 times for Werder between 2011 and 2014, scoring one goal.

...that assistant manager Torsten Frings has good memories of Frankfurt? The 39-year-old scored a five-minute brace against them in May 2009. Claudio Pizarro also got on the scoresheet in that game, scoring Werder's fourth in a 5-0 win.

...that Claudio Pizarro has a good record against Frankfurt? The 37-year-old has played against Eintracht 15 times in his career, scoring seven goals. His statistics are even better in a Werder shirt, with five goals in seven games against Frankfurt.
