SV Werder Bremen remain unbeaten in 2015 after Viktor Skripnik's side earned a hard fought 1-1 draw in Schalke. It was an open game for long periods, but Sebastian Prödl scored an equaliser in injury time after Meyer had given Schalke the lead.

Line-up and formation: Werder manager Viktor Skripnik went with the same line-up that started the game against FC Augsburg. Assani Kukimya partnered Jannik Vestergaard at the heart of the defence in the usual 4-4-2 formation. The midfield of Junuzovic and Co. provided the support for strikers Di Santo and Selke.

Even first half without any goals

3rd minute: First good chance for the Green-Whites. Some good combination play from Gebre Selassie and Bartles down the right sets up Kroos, but his shot is blocked.

7th minute:
First good chance for Schalke. Barnetta crosses to the six yard box for Felix Platte but he is unable to get his head on the ball, which hits a surprised Gebre Selassie and goes behind for a corner.

19th minute:
Great chance for Di Santo! Bartels crosses on the ground for the striker, but his shot from close range is straight at Wellenreuther.

22nd minute:
The game is becoming even tighter and once again it's Di Santo. Garcia crosses from the left but the shot from Werder's number 9 is blocked behind for a corner.

37th minute:
Another long range effort from the Green-Whites. A Junuzovic free kick from the half way line gets cleared as far as Bartels, who fires just wide of the right hand post.

39th minute:
At the other end, Neustädter goes close for the hosts as his shot goes just wide of Werder's goal.

Prödl with a last minute equaliser

49th minute: Free kick specialist Zlatko Junuzovic has a chance from just outside the box at the start of the second half, but he puts the free kick just wide of the post.

59th minute:
First chance of the half for Schalke 04 falls to Neustädter, but his shot from distance isn't troubling anyone.

61st minute:
GOAL for Schalke. Max Meyer tries his luck from 20 metres and gives Schalke the lead. Raphael Wolf got down quickly but was unable to keep hold of the ball.

76th minute:
A foul on Fin Bartels gives SV Werder a free kick but no one is able to get on the end of Junuzovic's ball.

90+1:
Unbelievable!!! A Junuzovic free kick is met by the head of Sebastian Prödl, who heads home the equaliser for SVW!

90+3:
Manuel Gräfe blows the final whistle! The game between Werder and Schalke ends in a 1-1 draw.

Summary:Both teams created scoring chances in an even first half. SV Werder's best chance of the half fell to Franco Di Santo, who fired straight at Wellenreuther from 12 yards. The Green-Whites took more control of the game after the break but Meyer put Schalke in front just after the hour mark. Fritz & Co. Were a bit anxious to go in search of an equaliser after that as they seemed unable to find a way through Schalke's defence. But that all changed in injury time as Sebastian Prödl headed home the equaliser for the Green-Whites.
