Not Belek but Jerez de la Frontera: After 12 years of preparing for the second half of the Bundesliga on the Turkish Riviera, the Green-Whites will head to southwest Spain at the beginning of 2014. The Werder players will be stationed at the Barcelo Montecastillo Golf Resort hotel from Wednesday 8-17 January 2014.
Head coach Robin Dutt's team will also play test matches during their stay in Jerez de la Frontera. But the opponents and schedule are not yet set.
Werder Bremen will start the second half of the 2013-14 Bundesliga season with a home match against Eintracht Braunschweig on the weekend of 24-26 January 2014 at Weser Stadium. The German Football League (DFL) have not yet announced the exact schedule for the match.
