SV Werder will be making the trip to the sixth Wintercup 2012 in Düsseldorf without captain Clemens Fritz, Philipp Bargfrede and Mikael Silvestre. "Mikael has a problem with his Achilles tendon, Clemens is sick and the last test for Philipp this morning was negative," said head coach Thomas Schaaf after the final training session Saturday 14 January 2012. That comes as the Werder coach will already be without Naldo, Marko Arnautovic, Andreas Wolf and Aaron Hunt.
