Werder midfielder Aleksandar Stevanovic will complete a tryout training the next two days with Dutch first division side PEC Zwolle, Werder head coach Thomas Schaaf confirmed Tuesday night. "We have been in Zwolle ourselves and know the good conditions of the club. We also have had good experiences with the management there with the loan of Denni Avdic," said the Werder coach.
The midfielder, who has also played on the right side of the defence for Werder, will train with the Dutch club on Wednesday and Thursday. Zwolle's training camp is also in Belek. The younger of the two Stevanovic brothers will have a familiar face at Zwolle, where his Green-Whites teammate Denni Avdic is playing. The Swedish striker was sent on loan to PEC before the season to get more playing time.
Stevanovic transferred to SV Werder in the summer of 2011 from the U19s of FC Schalke 04 and appeared in three Bundesliga matches. In addition, the 20-year-old played in 17 games for Werder's U23s in the third division as well as once in the Regionalliga. He did not however score a goal.
