+++ Caldirola active on Twitter: Since last Saturday, Luca Caldirola has joined Werder players such as Di Santo, Elia and company who are active on Twitter. Fans can follow Caldirola under @caldiluca3 on Twitter and see what the Italian tweets about food, friends and football. +++

+++ Power training week: The Werder players are going through a hard training program during the national team break. Starting on Tuesday and going through Thursday, there will be two sessions a day. The professionals will train again Friday morning before getting Saturday and Sunday off. "I didn't want to have a test match but wanted to train hard with the guys this week. Then they would deserve the weekend off," said Werder head coach Robin Dutt. +++

+++ Caldirola is a wanted man: In the build-up to Germany's friendly against Italy, one man in Bremen is a much sought after interview partner even though he's not even playing. Luca Caldirola has given a number of interviews this week in which journalists have asked him to give his assessment of the Squadra Azzurra. WERDER.DE also wants to talk to him about it. +++

+++ Los Garcias: A picture of Santiago Garcia and his family has popped up on WORUM.ORG, an independent fan portal of Werder fans. The caption: "A band. Or a footballer's family?" We think it's a funny story. +++
