Werder and InBev announce contract extension

InBev is starting immediately the top sponsor for Werder Bremen.

Werder Bremen and InBev Deutschland on Thursday announced a five-year extension of their sponsorship contact. Also included in the contract extension is an expansion of their collaboration. That makes InBev the Green-Whites' top sponsor....

InBev has been a prominent partner of Werder Bremen for years - the Haake-Beck brand has been more than present in the surroundings of the club. The Bremen-located subsidiary of the world's largest brewery group has in mind the classic sponsoring measures as well as a closeness to the region. "Bremen is the headquarters for our Germany centre, in Bremen you drink Haake-Beck with football. So of course we will continue our partnership with Werder Bremen," said InBev Germany boss Chris Cools.

Klaus Filbry, Werder manager for Marketing, Management and Finances, is excited that the partnership was extended. "We are very happy that we were able to even expand our collaboration with the contract extension. We can as club and brand also profit from the additionally planned fan measures to increase our image value even more," said Filbry.
