Tim Borowski's injury bad luck continued as the midfielder once again had to be subbed out prematurely against Stuttgart Saturday afternoon. Borowski just cannot stay away from injuries. "It is really brutal how often it has hit me this season," said 'Boro'. "I got another hit on my operated ankle." The 30-year-old however still hopes to help Werder in Frankfurt. "Things can change a lot in the week. I will hurry."

Kevin Schindler meanwhile has made his return to team training. The 22-year-old came back one day after the 1-1 draw against Stuttgart. The striker had worked out only individually during the week after having received a knock on his knee in the test match in Rehden. "It's a precautionary measure," said Schindler, who along with his teammates hopes to collect the full three points in Frankfurt. "We have come together, trained better, the mood is good," said captain Torsten Frings about the five-game undefeated streak of the team and the team's morale. "Not even a 1-0 deficit can put us down. We have proved ourselves as a team. A few weeks ago we would have been broken by that."
