Shortly before the start of the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen will play a further friendly match. On Tuesday, 07.08.2007, the Green-Whites will play in Faaborg, on the island of Fünen against Danish first division side Esbjerg. The tie against the five time Danish champions will be Werder’s dress rehearsal for the start of the Bundesliga. Four days later, on Saturday, 11.08.2007, Werder will travel to Bochum to take on VfL in their first competitive league game of the 2007/2008 season.

Wed, 25.07.2008, 8:30pm League Cup semi final at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadium in Stuttgart (Should Werder qualify).
