As expected, club captain Frank Baumann will also be on board. The 31 year old, who had been suffering from an achilles tendon problem at the end of the first round has recently been undertaking individual training. On Friday the midfielder passed a fitness test and can now launch himself back into full team training. "It went quite well so I reckon I will be able to work fully with the team in Belek from Tomorrow", commented Baumann.
Altogether Werder Bremen make the journey with a 41 man delegation. Throughout the training camp there will not only be plenty to do for the four man training team but also for the two kit men, five physios and fitness trainers, the press manager as well as the translator.
