Werder completed their final training on Saturday afternoon injury free. Especially positive for Bremen - Patrick Owomoyela was able to complete training free of probles having had to take things easy during the week but looks now to be fit to face Schalke on Sunday.

Especially positive for Bremen - Patrick Owomoyela was able to complete training free of probles having had to take things easy during the week but looks now to be fit to face Schalke on Sunday. "He is free of problems now and can strengthen the team", explained Schaaf happily. The German international had been in doubt after picking up a heel injury.

 

Coach Thomas Schaaf has selected the following 16 man squad to face FC Schalke 04 on Sunday : Wiese, Vander, Owomoyela, Schulz, Fahrenhorst, Naldo, Andreasen, Micoud, Borowski, Vranjes, D. Jensen, Valdez, Klose, Klasnic, Lagerblom, Pasanen.
