Goalkeeper Andreas Reinke has returned to Bremen. The 37 year old Werder keeper was released from hospital in Stuttgart and has since then been recovering at home in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Goalkeeper Andreas Reinke has returned to Bremen. The 37 year old Werder keeper was released from hospital in Stuttgart and has since then been recovering at home in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. On Tuesday he commented to werder.de: "I feel good, the rest over the last few days was very important. Now I'm looking forward to seeing my team mates again."

 

Andreas Reinke intends to discuss the incident against VfB Stuttgart further in a press conference on Thursday. Reinke suffered several bone breaks in his face after a clash with Stuttgart defender Martin Stranzl on the 20th match day of the season. Two days later the keeper underwent a four hour facial operation in Stuttgarts Katharinen Hospital.
