For promoted side St. Pauli avoiding relegation is mission number one! And head coach Holger Stanislawski has an absolutely tireless team at his disposal for the long road, which continues on the 14th game day on Sunday 28 November 2010 at 3:30 p.m. with a North Derby at Werder Bremen. "They have gone through a good development in the past years and have played a bit unexpectedly," said Werder coach Thomas Schaaf at the press conference before the game. Schaaf was referring to the strong playing style St. Pauli is playing with – along with their well-known endless will.

"St. Pauli have played altogether an excellent season," praised Schaaf. "We will be heading to Bremen optimally prepared," said St. Pauli coach Holger Stanislawski. "In Bremen we don’t have to be like a rabbit in front of a snake. We have to try our best to get the maximum three points." The Green-Whites are returning to Bremen after a 3-0 loss in the Champions League against Tottenham. "We are no longer in the Champions League and we are behind expectations in the Bundesliga and have to get out of this part of the table as quickly as possible," said manager Klaus Allofs.

Werder will not have to go their way alone as a sold-out Weser Stadium is awaiting them. "The support in London was sensational – but that is not a one-way street. We have to give the right signal then we will receive the appropriate echo from the fans," added Allofs.
