They stood there like wet dogs: Spectators, players and coaches were standing in the rain at Werder’s final training Friday afternoon at the Platz 10 training grounds. That was really the only bad news for the Green-Whites as there were no new injuries to report at the final training session. Other than the already injured Petri Pasanen and Sebastian Boenisch everyone else is on board for the derby against Hamburg.
With the injury loss of the Finnish international Pasanen, defender Dominik Schmidt was added to the 18-man roster for head coach Thomas Schaaf for the game Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.
