Torsten Frings will be in the starting line-up for Germany in their friendly tonight against Norway in Düsseldorf's LTU-Arena. The German national team coach Joachim Löw made the announcement at a German Football Federation press conference on Tuesday. "He appears to be much fitter physically than last year and is much more present," praised Löw. The 32-year-old Frings last played a full match for Germany in the Euro2008 final against Spain.
Werder keeper Tim Wiese, however, will not be starting as Löw gave the nod to Leverkusen goalie Rene Adler.
