The schedule for game days 20 and 21 of the Bundesliga has been determined. The 20th game day away match against FC Energie Cottbus will take place on Saturday, 21 February 2009 at 3:30 p.m.

 

The top-class showdown of the 21st game day against FC Bayern München has been scheduled for Sunday, 1 March 2009 at 5 p.m. The game will be Werder's second of the second half to take place on a Sunday following the 2009 opener against Arminia Bielefeld.

 

The games against FC Schalke 04 on game day 18 and Borussia Mönchengladbach on game day 19 both will be played on Saturday.
