Aaron Hunt was in the German U21 selection which beat the Ukraine 4:0 in a friendly international on Friday evening.

Aaron Hunt was in the German U21 selection which beat the Ukraine 4:0 in a friendly international on Friday evening. 7,100 fans packed into the capacity filled ‘Jadestadion’ in Wilhelmshaven and saw VfB Stuttgart’s Sami Khedira (67’/77’), Frankfurt’s Marcel Heller (79’) and Bielefeld’s Daniel Halfar (87’) get the goals for trainer Dieter Eilts side.

 

Aaron Hunt played the full 90 minutes and impressed with a strong performance. The Werder front man played an important role in Germany’s stunning fourth goal as he combined with Khedira to set up Halfar.
