Daniel Jensen has been ruled out for the immediate future with a groin strain. On Sunday, 16.03.2008, the Danish international had to be substituted against VfL Wolfsburg as early as the 40th minute. It is momentarily unclear as to when the midfield man will be able to return to the team.

It is momentarily unclear as to when the midfield man will be able to return to the team: “It’s one of those time consuming injuries, but not really all that serious”, explained Jensen, who received the diagnosis following an MRI scan on the troubled area. Jensen has not yet completely given up hope of playing a part in Werder’s clash this Sunday, 23.03.3008, with Armenia Bielefeld: “We’ll see if I can get fit again by Friday”, concluded the experienced Dane.
