Aleksandar Ignjovski had to leave the Serbian national team due to stomach pains. A precise diagnosis will follow on Tuesday.

"I talked to the coach and the doctor with the Serbian national team. We decided that I should get a thorough check up in Bremen," said Ignjovski. The examinations began in the evening under the surveillance of Werder team doctor Götz Dimanski. A precise diagnosis is expected during the course of Tuesday.

Ignjovski was actually supposed to play for Serbia against Scotland in Novi Sad on Tuesday. The defensive all-arounder played 75 minutes last Friday in Serbia's 2-0 loss in Croatia.
