Werder Bremen will play a test match against Union Berlin this Saturday, 3 September 2011. Kickoff for the game against the second division side is 3:30 p.m. at the An der Alten Försterei Stadium.

The last showdown between these teams dates back to 2 August 2009 when Werder won 5-0 in the first round of the German DFB Cup. "We are happy that this game was able to be set up at such short notice. It is a match against a good second division tam and another opportunity to give our squad game practice," said manager Klaus Allofs.

Tickets for the game are now available at the ticket office (An der Wuhlheide 263), at the fan shop (Forum Köpenick, lower level) and the online shop. Tickets prices are the usual prices for the An der Alten Försterei Stadium, which opens at 2 p.m.
