It's finally that time again on 22 January! Werder are playing at Cologne, and numerous fans are travelling with to the city with the majestic cathedral. But it's not an away match for everyone. For a number of years there is a continually growing Bremen fan community in Cologne and there has been an official fan club since last October - Igw - Werder fans in NRW. And Igw hope to put together a wonderful evening after hopefully a successful game as the fan club is organizing a homecoming party for the third time - as Cologne's exile Werder fans celebrate their only "home match" of the season.
Starting at 9 p.m., so directly after the final whistle of the game, the party will start at the Greenbar (Rheingasse 34-36, right near the Heumarkt in Cologne's Old Town). Entrance is free of charge with drinks being sold at fan-friendly prices.
Visiting fans can also stay the night at the hostel belonging to the Greenbar - www.am-rheinauhafen.de. There is a 10% rebate for Werder fans.
