SV Werder Bremen's summer schedule has seen a couple of minor changes. On Friday, manager Klaus Allofs announced that the game against Energie Cottbus on 20 July 2012 will start half an hour later with kick-off now planned for 5 p.m. at Park Stadium in Zell am Ziller.

In addition, the Green-Whites' training camp in Donaueschingen will be moved forward one day due to organisational reasons. Bremen will head towards their training camp in southern Germany directly after the LIGA total! Cup in Hamburg on Sunday 5 August 2012. Due to the Day of the Fans 2012 moving up to Saturday 11 August 2012 at 1 p.m., Thomas Schaaf's team will return to Bremen already on Friday 10 August 2012.
