+++ Bartels at right back, Skripnik praises Sternberg: In the game against FC Bayern, when the champions had possession, Philipp Bargfrede would slot into the defensive line to complete a back five for the Green Whites. The same thing then happened when Borussia Dortmund came to town on Saturday. In this game, Fin Bartels showed off his versatility and put in convincing performance at right back in the back five. The natural attacker was also involved in Werder's equaliser.

Skripnik was not only full of praise for Bartels, but also for left back Sternberg: "I'm happy with his performance. He was everywhere. In the first half especially he showed real quality and was putting in some great crosses into the area." Skripnik did mention Sternberg's positional mistake when BVB scored their second goal: "I hope that these kind of experiences improve him as a player. Next time he will deal with a similar situation a lot better"+++
