Werder defender Theodor Gebre Selassie and his Czech Republic side will travel to the European Championship in France as group winners. The 28-year-old played well despite featuring in the unfamiliar left-back position.

The German U20 national side have one more title in the bag. Frank Wormuth's side won the deciding fixture against England 1-0 on Tuesday evening, securing their Elite Cup win. Max Dittgen of SG Sonnenhof Großaspach scored the winner on 49 minutes, whilst a draw would have been enough for England to win the title courtesy of their superior goal difference.
