SV Werder Bremen completed their final training session on Friday morning ahead of their departure to England for a friendly match against West Ham United on Sunday (16:00 CEST). Alejandro Gálvez was not able to participate, after the Spaniard suffered a strain in his left thigh, which will keep him on the sidelines for the next few days.
Cédrick Makiadi also could not take part in the training session due to a thigh strain and will likely be forced out of action for at least two weeks.
On the bright side, Izet Hajrovic was back on the training pitch. The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has recovered from the knee and foot problems sustained in the friendly against Wilhelmshaven. "It looks good. I was able to train without feeling any pain or having any issues," explained Hajrovic after Friday morning's training session.
