+++ Everyone on board: Manager Viktor Skripnik made today a key "meeting point", as the whole Werder squad were finally reunited in Bremen on Friday. Internationals Zlatko Junuzovic, Theodor Gebre Selassie, Jannik Vestergaard, Izet Hajrovic and Levin Öztunali all returned to the squad after an extended holiday break. The returnees weren't involved in training on Friday morning, though they will all, with the exception of Vestergaard, travel with the team to Salzburg on Friday evening, where they will take part in the "Audi quattro Cup" on Saturday. The Danish centre back has been excused for a few extra days of recovery. "I want to start the season 100% fit," said Vestergaard, who playing for the Denmark U21s at the European Championship until the end of June. +++

+++ First team in focus: Friday wasn't just about reunions for the Green Whites, it was also time for the annual Media Day with the Bundesliga (DFL). As well as the official team photo, for which every player, with the exception of Clemens Fritz (personal appointment) and Lukas Fröde (broken nose), was present, each player also had a single portrait of themselves shot during the day. That wasn't all, however, as Ujah, Juunzovic and Co. were all required to fulfil other tasks, such as posing for action photos and speaking in front of the camera. +++

+++ Live stream of "Audi quattro Cup": On Saturday, 11th July SV Werder are taking part in the "Audi quattro Cup" in Salzburg, alongside three top European teams: Valencia CF, Southampton FC and FC Red Bull Salzburg. In the first semifinal, the Green-Whites will face hosts Red Bull Salzburg, before FC Valencia face Southampton FC in the second semi. The third place playoff will take place directly afterwards, before the final between the two winners. All four matches will be streamed live via this Red Bull-Livestream from 16:00 CEST. +++
