SV Werder Bremen and Zillertal Tourismus GmbH will continue their long-time partnership. The agreement between the beloved tourist destination and Werder has been extended by three years until 2022, according to Klaus Filbry, chairman of the executive board. “We have a long-running and successful partnership with the Zillertal. Every year we come here to find the best conditions for our first-team training camp. In addition to that, the area has become a favourite travel destination for many fans, even outside of our summer training camps,” said Filbry.

Under the renewed agreement, the Zillertal will also remain a co-sponsor of SV Werder Bremen. “Cooperating is a win-win for both sides. We’re looking forward to continuing to welcome both the players and the Werder fans to the Zillertal over the next few years,” said Beate Kassner, the head of Zillertal Tourismus GmbH.

Werder will spend ten days in the Austrian Alps, staying at “Das Posthotel” as the team’s exclusive base. The team will train in Zell am Ziller’s Parkstadion before heading back to Bremen on 14th July 2019.
