SV Werder Bremen started the new week of training at midday on Tuesday (27/08/2024) ahead of their upcoming home game against Borussia Dortmund. Head coach Ole Werner is looking forward to seeing a well-attended training ground, with only a trio of players currently missing.

Jens Stage and Milos Veljkovic are currently managing their workload after the 2-2 draw at FC Augsburg. Furthermore, Amos Pieper is still in rehabilitation after suffering a muscle injury at the end of July.
