At the start of the new week of training in preparation ahead of the home match against Holstein Kiel, Skelly Alvero was brought back into team training on Wednesday afternoon, 06/11/24. Three Green-Whites did not take part in the team training session, however.

Goalkeeper Michael Zetterer is managing his workload after having his foot trodden on during the defeat away to Borussia Mönchengladbach. Abed Nankishi is similarly being managed individually, while Marco Grüll remains absent from team training following a slight muscle injury sustained during the DFB-Pokal clash in Paderborn.

Patrice Covic (U19s) has therefore been promoted from the Werder academy to join senior team training.
