Olivier Deman will spend the rest of the season on loan at Belgian side Royal Antwerp, as confirmed by Peter Niemeyer, head of professional football at Werder, on Monday.
“Oliver understandably would like more football, something we cannot guarantee him at the moment at Werder. As a result of that, we’ve agreed to his request for a loan move. We hope that Olli can get as many minutes as possible in Antwerp. He’ll then return to Bremen in the summer,” explained Niemeyer.
Olivier Deman joined Werder at the start of the 2023/24 season from Cercle Brugge and has since played 38 games for the club in the Bundesliga, scoring two goals.
