The pattern of Bremen's “Speckflagge” has been integrated into the shirt’s design and embodies the city’s heart and soul. It connects the club and the city, and symbolises the collective unity, passion, and togetherness present at the Weserstadion week upon week. Just like how the stadium is located in the centre of the city, the club logo will be positioned in the middle of the shirt.

“I’m delighted that, thanks to the excellent work of our partners at hummel, our new home shirt will allow us to highlight the close bond between the people of Bremen and SV Werder. I really like the integration of the Speckflagge and am looking forward to seeing the team play in this kit in front of our fans at the Weserstadion for the first time,” said Klaus Filbry, CEO of Werder Bremen.

The shirt will be debuted this coming weekend, with SV Werder set to face FC Verden 04 in a friendly on Sunday afternoon (14.07, 14:00 CEST) at the Stadion am Berliner Ring - the home of the club's main sponsor, MATTHÄI.
