SV Werder Bremen got a new week of training underway on Wednesday morning, as they begin preparations for their encounter with FC Augsburg at the weekend (Saturday, 15:30 CEST). Ole Werner and his coaching staff were without a quintet of Werder players, while Felix Agu completed an indoor session at the wohninvest WESERSTADION in order to monitor his workload.

Jiri Pavlenka (muscle problems), Skelly Alvero (shoulder), Amos Pieper (ankle), Isak Hansen-Aarøen and Justin Njinmah (both ill) did not participate in the session. However, Niklas Stark was back in action alongside the rest of his teammates at the start of the week after returning to full training last Saturday. The senior Green-Whites were also joined by David Kébé, Ricardo Schwarz, Levi Wagner and Jakob Löpping from the U23s.
