Pavlenka returns to training at the start of the week

Jiri Pavlenka was back involved in training at the start of this week ahead of the home game against FC Augsburg on Saturday, 09.11.23 (15:30 CET). The goalkeeper missed the game away at VfB Stuttgart due to an infection.

However, goalkeeping talent Spyros Angelidis is set for a long spell on the sidelines. The Greek youth international broke his right hand in training and will be out for several months.

Additionally, Amos Pieper (broken ankle), Nicolai Rapp (foot injury) and Leon Opitz (ruptured ankle ligament) remain unavailable. The trio are working towards making a return.
