Team council for the 2023/24 season confirmed

The team council of SV Werder Bremen for the 2023/24 season has been confirmed. Marco Friedl, Niclas Füllkrug, Niklas Stark, Christian Groß, Leonardo Bittencourt and Milos Veljkovic make up the six members of this season's council.

Marco Friedl will continue to lead the team out onto the pitch as captain. The 25-year-old Austrian was also our skipper last season, with Niclas Füllkrug appointed as vice-captain for the upcoming campaign.
