Head coach Ole Werner is also thrilled to have the 2.02 metre Frenchman in his ranks for the 2024/25 campaign. “Skelly strengthens our squad with his physicality and quality on the pitch. We know for a fact that he still has the potential to progress further and we want to help him reach the next level in his development.”
The midfielder is feeling optimistic about a future on the Weser, adding: “I feel at home at Werder and am really happy that I can continue playing here. I wanted to sign a permanent deal from the moment I arrived. We’ve got a great team and have developed really well over the last few months. I want to keep progressing here and help contribute towards the team’s success.”
Skelly Alvero joined the Green-Whites on loan from Olympique Lyonnais during the January transfer window. The 22-year-old returned to the squad in the last game of the 2024/25 season after spending a number of weeks on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury, before which he made six appearances for the Green-Whites and scored one goal.
