On Saturday, 12th November 2022, SV Werder Bremen will play their last Bundesliga game of the year at the wohninvest WESERSTADION. After the game against RB Leipzig, the World Cup and winter break will commence, ending for Werder with an away game against FC Köln on Saturday, 21st January – find out what Ole Werner’s team will be doing during this time here.
In the week after the Leipzig game, Werder will play two friendlies, provisionally planned for the 15th and 19th November. Details such as opponents, locations and times will be determined in the coming weeks.
Before the long break does get underway, the whole team will attend SV Werder von 1899 e.V.’s AGM, which will take place at 11am on Sunday, 20th November at the Bremer Konzerthaus.
The first training session of the break will be taken by Werner on Thursday, 8 December, before the last of the year is expected on Friday, 23rd December. In the new year, training resumes on Monday, 2nd January. If and when the team will travel to a training camp is yet to be determined.
Werder get back to Bundesliga action on Saturday, 21 January, as they visit 1. FC Köln at the RheinEnergieStadion – kick off is 18:30 CET.
