On Tuesday (8th November, 20.30 CET), SVW are faced with an away game against current league leaders FC Bayern München. Niclas Füllkrug, the Green-Whites’ leading goalscorer this season, will not travel to Munich following a back injury suffered in the game against Schalke 04.
“His back is continuing to cause problems, but he should be able to return against Leipzig”, said head coach Ole Werner at his pre-match press conference about the striker. Along with the leading marksman, Eduardo dos Santos Haesler and Manuel Mbom are also unavailable. Lee Buchanan is available once again having recovered from illness.
