Werder trio to miss the first training session of the week

The Green-Whites will go into the training week with some players missing

SV Werder will start the training week ahead of the home game against Bayer Leverkusen with some players missing. Captain Marco Friedl, Romano Schmid and Christian Groß will not be out there with the team due to illness. Milos Veljkovic and Dikeni Salifou will return to training, however, and Niklas Stark will take part only partially in the team training after recovering from his illness.

Lee Buchanan will also be absent from the team training on Wednesday. The defender, who has recently been ill, trained individually in the wohninvest WESERSTADION in the morning. Felix Agu and Manuel Mbom also continue to work individually on their comebacks.
