Leonardo Bittencourt has returned to team training ahead of Sunday’s clash with VfB Stuttgart (5th February, 15:30 CET). The 29-year-old missed last weekend’s 2-1 win over VfL Wolfsburg with a cold.

Ole Werner, however, had to do without Jens Stage on Wednesday. The 26-year-old has recently become a father after his partner Louise gave birth to a son. SV Werder Bremen wish the pair all the best for their new-found parenthood!

The long-term injured Romano Schmid (MCL) and Felix Agu (patellar tendon) are still working individually on their comebacks.
