SV Werder Bremen have reached an agreement with 1. FC Kaiserslautern for defender Nicolai Rapp to join the club on loan until the end of the season. The final formalities have now been officially agreed.
"Rappo approached us because he wants more playing time than he has been getting. With this loan move to Kaiserslautern, we want to make this possible for him, but we also still see the potential in him to make more appearances in the Bundesliga," explained Clemens Fritz, Head of Scouting and Professional Football, shortly before the departure to Spain.
Nicolai Rapp has played a total of 66 minutes in seven of the 15 games so far this season. During the promotion season, Rapp, who moved to Werder in the summer of 2021, played 28 games, scoring 2 goals in that time.
