Kyu-hyun Park will not be returning to SV Werder Bremen. SG Dynamo Dresden, for whom Park has been on loan since summer 2022, have agreed with Werder on a transfer for the 22-year-old defender. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the details of the transfer.
“All parties were very happy with the loan. Dresden and Parki approached us with the desire of a permanent transfer. After we were able to come to an agreement, we agreed to the transfer request. We wish him only the best in the future,” explained Clemens Fritz, head of scouting and professional football at SVW.
Park first came to Bremen from South Korean club Ulsa Hyundai in 2019 on loan, before permanently moving in 2021. He played for the Green-Whites at U19 and U23 level and made 18 appearances in the Regionalliga North. He made 16 appearances for Dresden in the third division last season.
