“An opportunity has arisen at short notice for Oliver to get more playing time at another club than he is currently getting with us. Therefore we agreed with him on a loan move to FC Millwall. He has already played there and had positive experiences. We hope that he can play more minutes there and continue to develop his game, and he will then return to Bremen in summer. We still see great potential in him and hope that he can come into his own with more game time,” explained Clemens Fritz, head of scouting and professional football at SV Werder Bremen.
The 25-year-old, who moved to Bremen in summer from Sheffield United, has made 15 appearances for the Green-Whites this season and has scored two goals.
