SV Werder Bremen have found an opponent at short notice for the second friendly of the club’s training camp in Spain. Ole Werner’s side will take on Spanish third division outfit Real Murcia on 4th January, with kick off at 12:30 CET at the Pinatar Arena. Murcia currently occupy third place in the Primera Federación Grupo B.
“We are glad that we were able to find an opponent at short notice and that we can now play two matches as originally planned. This will allow all of our players to get some match practice,” explained Clemens Fritz, head of scouting and professional football.
In addition, Werder will take on Swiss first division side FC St. Gallen at the same location on 8th January at 15:30 CET in the second friendly of the training camp.
